Sam Salonen, a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience, will start as the Business Unit Director of SKALER, Siili’s special RPA and Intelligent Automation force, on May 16th.

Sam joins Siili and SKALER from Telia Finland, where he has held multiple positions in Telia’s IT and B2B organizations. He has previously served as Head of Customer and Order Management, a unit responsible of development and maintenance of Telia CRM and Order management systems, and he was also responsible for building Telia’s internal RPA capabilities.

During the past 4 years, Sam has been developing Telia’s IA business in co-operation with selected partners, such as SKALER.

SKALER’s current lead Kristian Valkama, who acted as the founder of SKALER and played an instrumental role in driving Siili’s IA business forward, has decided to take on a new role and head for new challenges. Valkama will continue supporting SKALER in a Senior Advisor position.
